ROBERT ORIOL was born in Los Angeles to a metal-working father and a mother who, in her day, was Queen of the Roller Derby in New Jersey. A veteran of the LA rock scene, ROBERT ORIOL prefers cold days over hot days, fast food over slow food, dogs over cats.

At the age of 15 ROBERT ORIOL formed his first band band, DEFIANCE, with two friends from school. The band rehearsed daily in the family garage. While they never actually played any gigs, they did learn to play one Bad Company song fairly well, and successfully turned his mother's bookcase into a drum riser.

Several bands later, ROBERT ORIOL finds himself among four elevated others. When not playing music with his friends in E5, ROBERT ORIOL can most likely be found hanging lights in a theater.
