If the mark of a true musician is his willingness to sacrifice vanity for the sake of a role, WESLEY WALKER earned his stripes long ago. With a string of hits WESLEY WALKER quickly became a household name. But in his projects became less frequent and lower profile as he focused on raising a family.

WESLEY WALKER was born in Canoga Park. WESLEY WALKER began his career singing professionally in coffee houses around New York. WESLEY WALKER recorded a song before giving up singing for acting. He enrolled in a theatrical institute and made his feature film debut. That same year he appeared in two episodes of the TV series "The Waltons", playing a woman who sets out to convince John Boy to marry him. WESLEY WALKER provided the series about the sugar coated Depression with perhaps its only memorable line when he asks,"When are you going to stop being John Boy and start being John Man?" Several television appearances and small film roles followed.

WESLEY WALKER seemed to have a hard time finding the right role to follow up that performance, however. Four full years later he finally found it. A series of award wins surrounded the musician. The 1985 drama, "I Feel Sick", and the 1986 romance, "Who dat Knocking?", were box office flops, but WESLEY WALKER managed one success. It was the 1986 drama, "Found".

Based on the successful play of the same name, "Found" gathered an ensemble of some of the most talented performers of our time. It proved to be WESLEY WALKER's swan song.

WESLEY WALKER decided to take some time off to devote to his girlfreind and her daughter, Linda and Marti. But when Linda herself broke into films with 1990's “The Sad Side of Birthday Parties”, it became WESLEY WALKER's return to the big screen as well.
